Program Description:

The Finance Department operates as a support agency and provides financial information to the various City Departments. The Finance Department is responsible for the overall fiscal activities of the City's operations, which include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll processing, investment of funds, and budget preparation. The Finance Department has been active in the process of acquiring short term and long term funding for City operating and Capital Improvement Projects through the securing of Certificates of Obligation Bond issues.


Program Focus:

The program goal is to insure a prompt and efficient system for the processing and maintaining of all financial transactions of the City.
